Hardware tells part of the operating history

Rental cabinets are repeatedly assembled, moved and packed. Inspect fast locks, handles, corner protectors, power and data connectors, cable strain, module seating and visible cabinet deformation.

Record what was checked

Photograph the relevant hardware, identify any replaced part and confirm the result after reassembly and power-on. A short, batch-linked record is more useful than a generic statement that the cabinets were serviced.
